“She’s right, you know?”

[The Killer King’s voice.]

[It’s cold and calculated, each word meant to cut deep into the flesh of their target.]

“Narcissa. She’s right.”

[A close-up of Jasper Redgrave’s face stares back at us.]

“Ever since you’ve become the head of the Arcadian Police Department, you’ve been a monster, Jackyboy.”

“When your parents were under attack, what did you do? A man carrying a clear head on his shoulders knows that the right thing to do is to send the APD after them, not to hurt them, but to bring them into the station in cuffs. Normally, attackers are brought to justice by the book.”

“However when it involved you and your family, Jackson, the book quickly flew out of the window”

“You suited up your best men and sent them in like vicious dogs to mug those responsible in front of all of Arcadia!”

[Redgrave shakes his head in disgust.]

“That night at the Metalworks, you knew what lie ahead. You knew what Tombstone is capable of. You knew the risk that each of your men would be in fighting your battle, yet that didn’t stop you from sending in the troops.”

“You cost a man his life that night, Jackson, and you never bat an eye in his lifeless direction. You showed no remorse. You stormed past his lifeless body and continued about your monstrous path of rage.”

“You’re the monster here, Jackson.”

[A smile slowly cracks across Jasper’s stern face.]

“But let’s not forget who made you.”

[A dry chuckle is given as Jasper takes a bit of pride about himself.]

“When you and I first crossed paths, you were just a greenhorn. A rookie cop who did everything by the book. Who did everything as he was told.”

“You were an upstanding citizen of Arcadia, who had taken a plea to protect and serve the general public.”

“But that Jackson Cade is long gone now, isn’t it?”

[The camera pans out. Jasper Redgrave stands in the very room where he tortured Jackson for weeks. He’s stood directly in front of the Grim Embrace.]

[With a smile, Jasper reaches out to touch the Embrace.]

“I made you, Jackson.”

“Just as easily as I created you into my vision, I can destroy you.”

[Redgrave peers back into the camera lens with daggers.]

“And I will.”

“At Vendetta, our paths will cross one last time before Red Snow.”

“Your brother seems to think that there’s a way the Cade Family withstands what lies on the horizon.”

“This week will serve as a stark reminder that’s not a possibility.”

[Redgrave turns on his heels, taking another look at the Embrace.]

“I brought you into this world, Jackson. I turned you into that crooked Sheriff you’ve become.”

“I built you up to withstand the grueling nature of Arcadia.”

“But now it’s time I take you out.”

[Jasper smirks as he begins to take his leave.]

“Leaving your precious brother all alone come Red Snow.”

[A happy little chuckle is given as The King leaves us to stare at the tortuous Grim Embrace.]
