“Let’s use our imaginations, for a moment.”
[The cold raspy voice of The Killer King brings chills up the spine.]
“Imagine being stranded out at sea..”
[He stands before a table, looking down at a large container of water.]
[A figurine of a small boat floats in the center of the container.]
“Not a piece of land in sight.”
“You have loved ones back home, but they’re nothing more than a nice memory as you float out a sea… alone.”
“Suddenly, the clouds turn gray. Thunder rumbles and as lightning strikes, a storm begins to brew.”
[With the back of his hand, Jasper smacks the container of water, causing it to slosh about.]
“The rain pours it’s heaviest as the waves violently crash against the bow of your sailboat.”
“You struggle to keep everything under control. You rush to maintain the stability of your boat.”
“Yet no matter how hard you try, the rain continues to pour. The hull of your sailboat continues to flood with water.”
[Another strike of the side of the container causes the sailboat to rock even more.]
“Just when you thought you may be able to turn the tides, a huge wave comes about a washes you out completely.”
“And the sea swallows yet another victim.”
[SPLASH!]
[With his whole hand, Jasper splashes into the water on top of the sailboat, causing it to sink deep under water.]
[Jasper smirks.]
“Your brother is lost at sea, Jackyboy.”
“What I’ve done to him is shown him the truth. I’ve shown him the inevitable future that awaits him at Red Snow.”
“I’ve isolated him from you. I’ve distracted him from his father.”
“And I’ve eliminated him from the picture.”
“But what I really did, was make sure that he wouldn’t be there when you come barking up my tree.”
[A dry chuckle is given as he turns towards another table. This one has a box sitting on it.]
“I’m no fool, Jackson.”
“I knew you’d come to fight his battle.”
“I knew you’d try to protect your brother from what you damn well know awaits him at Red Snow.”
“And that’s precisely what I wanted.”
[Jasper looks down at the box on the table with half of a smile.]
“At Forces of Darkness, the storm that awaits your brother shall rear it’s ugly head.”
“The funny thing about storms is, sometimes they take unexpected lives.”
“At the end of the night, I’ll have one final gift to deliver to your brother.”
[Redgrave slides the box across the wide table as we look down.]
[Written in permanent marker are the words “Jackson Cade.”]
“This box is reserved for the foolish older brother that ran into the storm without a single thought.”
“A brother who has failed his little sibling time and time again.”
“One who tries to make up for his mistakes, but instead keeps making them.”
“When I’m done with you, the last ounce of hope your brother has will die with you.”
“Leaving him truly stranded..”
[Jasper lets out a bellowing laugh.]
“Alone.”
[Fade.]
