Pandemonium XI

Quote from The Night on 2 May 2025, 07:27TOP THREE MOMENTS:
1. I loved the Pandemonium match. It's supposed to be chaos incarnate and it lived up to its name ten fold. From Ayame getting incredibly unlucky with a ton of Preservationists joining the fight early on to the final draw between Hatchet and Felix, this match was an absolute slobberknocker. Loved watching it live and I can't wait to see the fallout of things to come from the big spots that occurred in that match.
2. The Sunshine Club takes this spot. There's quite a lot to unpack here with this segment. Sunshine called in a favor from the Zookeeper? What kind of relationship do those two have if the latter isn't trying to kill Charlie Boye? Also, whose side is he on? He had his newest recruits not only attack Captain Arcadia, but also Anton Savor. Is the chef no longer a Preservationist? Is Sunshine going his own way? I'm asking too many questions, I know, but I'll be damned if this didn't hook me.
3. Bombshell will nab the final spot. This seg definitely lived up to its name. We got the reveal that Felix fucking Foley of all people planted the bomb that injured Zeus and killed many of the other gods of Arcadia. We got Hatchet injecting something into the Puppeteer, causing him to turn into Scissors (what that something was might as well be a mystery to everyone at this point). And we got Hatchet getting stabbed in the chest, leaving his condition unknown at the end of the show. What a way to cap off a show like Pandemonium.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
What happened to Tombstone after he killed Igor Mortis? It implied that nothing good was happening after killing the custodian of chains, but exactly what happened? Was the Underworld not happy with his death and did something to him? I must know, damn it!
Why did George Cade betray his own son to join up with Jasper Redgrave? Why did he dig up CJ's body and make it seem like someone else did it? Will we get answers to these questions before Ring of Dreams? Or will we get a month of a Cade breaking down in tears before we get any hints? đ
What is Phase Two? Did it have something to do with them putting an end to Arcadia? What has been built? Does it still exist, or did Zeus have it destroyed when Cronus was killed? Too many questions have risen from this segment and I can't help but theorize answers!
MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
The more I looked back at the promos, the more I really liked The Watchman's Failure. I've mulled between this and Foley's for quite a while, but I ultimately decided that this should get the rub. Mostly because at the end of the day, he's right. He had ample opportunity to end Jasper Redgrave's reign of terror before it even started, yet he didn't call for help from his then APD friends when it mattered. As result, it cost CJ his life and he has nobody to blame but himself. Fantastic piece.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Calypso: Not present in the show, although I have a sneaking suspicion she might be involved with Tombstone somehow.
Night: Uh oh, Narcissa told Night something that might shake things up a bit! What exactly did she tell him? Was it that Gemini was the one responsible for the Red Light District blowing up, like I expect it was? Or was it something completely different and we've yet to see the extent of her gameplan? After all, we did see them get uncomfortably close for a moment before Narcy rolled him up. Was that a red herring or is there something, dare I say, blooming between them? Can't wait to find out. Whatever it is though, it surely can't be good for the Seekers.

Quote from Anton Savor on 2 May 2025, 07:38TOP THREE MOMENTS:
1. the return of scissors was very very out of left field for sure. to hear that felix/scissors was involved with blowing up the pantheon was quite the shock as well. i always thought from the moment he first came about that he was probably the coldest character ive ever seen, so im excited to see what he gets into this time around.
2. the revelation of the sunshine club was fun. i didnt really expect for it to all be laid out before us at pandemonium but here we are, and the moment absolutely did not disappoint. i think the coolest part for me are the names of each of the members of sunshines club, and then maybe just guessing what type of role each of them might play. super excited to see this progress.
3. couldnt go without mentioning the lambs match here. i mean it was dope from beginning to end, from the nonstop action to the stories being told throughout the match as well. the biggest shock to me was gravedigger and tombstone going at it so hard that they eliminated each other outside of the lambs match. amazing shit from top to bottom.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
why did george turn on jackson?
since igor is dead, what does that mean for tombstone/gravedigger?
what is phase two?
what exactly did narcissa tell the night?
what chaos will the sunshine club bring?
whats gonna be scissors first course of action?
MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
the watchmanâs failure took it for me. i thought that everything came together nicely for jin in this promo, from his concept of choice to how he broke everything down about jackson and his past. very nice work.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
and thereee it goesss. we have our answers with the zookeeper charade. i thought that this was damn near the coolest segment of the show tho, albeit at my guy antonâs expense. like i said earlier, im both very excited and curious to see how thisâll all come together now for sunshine and his club. and also with how anton might respond to that beatdown and this information moving forward.

Quote from Narcissa Balenciaga on 2 May 2025, 08:22TOP THREE MOMENTS:
1. Lambs to the slaughter, it's always a banger match that I look forward to every year and this year did not disappoint at all. High spots from everyone, some surprising double elimination and speaking of double, double winners! Is this the only way a pandemonium curse can be lifted? If so, these two definitely deserve it.
2. New world champion, congrats Jin! I remember how I felt winning the world title last year, it feels incredibly special and I'm so happy for you. You've taken to this place like a fish to water and when you got your opportunity, you absolutely crushed it. Soak it in, well earned for sure.
3. The Sunshine Club, im getting Wyatt Family esque vibes here and I love it, this screams potential and having the Zookeeper intertwined with this is brilliant. Very intrigued by this and can't wait to see what happens in the future.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
Are the members of the sunshine club all new people or potential people we already know?
What did Narcy whisper to Night?
How vicious will Scissors be this time around?
MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
The watchmen failure, like I said, Jin definitely earned it with this promo. You found the perfect verse for what you wanted to do and you just hammered it in, over and over like a cinematic speech, it was brilliant.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
What a show! Thanks to the segment writers, the match writers, Dean for making this all possible, and Laner for streaming this wonderful event. I am so curious about what Narcissa showed Night and for a second there, I thought it could potentially change their relationships then that brilliant roll up by her, such a cheeky move. Classic bitch move as always. She was written perfectly this week and very appreciated of all the shine she got, definitely saving some of the cartoon images just bc they're fun and different, great stuff all around!

Quote from Destructo Boy on 2 May 2025, 08:27TOP THREE MOMENTS:
1.  Footprints in the Sand. Of all the choices in the person who dug up CJ's grave, his own dad was never on the list for me and holy shit does that make it a brilliant swerve. George Cade absolutely become the biggest prick in OSW especially now he's aligned himself with the man who killed one of his sons and wants to do the same to his other. The explanation is going to absolutely be delayed to make Jackson sweat but I feel it's going to be both huge and soul crushing at the same time.
2. It's gotta be the Lambs match as a whole. From the beginning with poor Ayame getting mugged to Tombstone and Gravedigger cancelling one another out to the Preservationists breaking down thanks to Hatchet and Destructo being pricks to Sunshine using poor Deanie as a tool to the absolutely deserving draw with Felix and Hatchet, an amazing sprint of a Lambs that was a joy to hear and read from start to finish...which feeds into #3
3. Bombshell had to be here. From the reveal that Felix blew up the Pantheon to the betrayal by Hatchet plunging that syringe into his neck to the return of Scissors, it was a holy shit segment to end the show and left so many questions lingering from it. Brilliant stuff and holy hell can I not wait to see what happens next
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- Will Drewitt join up with the fragmented Seekers now Grimskull has turned on him?
- How bad of an impact will this Sunshine Club have and can Arcadia and Savor do anything about them?
- With the death of Igor, will there be reprocussions for Tombstone or can he gain the chains back from his former pupil?
- What exactly did Narcissa whisper to the Night? Did she tell him the truth of the red light bombing? Was it the truth behind who blew up the Pantheon or was it something else entirely?
- Why did George betray both his sons for the man who killed one and wants to end the other?
- Are the Seekers at all whole after Lambs? Will Hatchet be the same after the attack? Is Scissors still on their side or just a wild card to end everyone like he used to be?
MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
It absolutely has to be the Watchman's Failure. I went back afterwards and re-read it, it absolutely reminds me of a similar promo that the Butcher put up against Sigil. Everything setup perfectly, nothing wasted, pure domino knocking down and fuck if it wasn't an amazing promo. Brilliant work by Jin here with absolutely his best work and incredibly well deserved a world title win.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Well...so the Seekers may well have just imploded here. We're down a mentor in George Cade, Hatchet just turned on us and Felix...well Felix ain't here no more. Not only that but the clown is in debt to the Chemist and given that Destructo was watching the entire time, he may well have expanded his on sight to two people here. However, the big thing I took from this is not just Destructo's expanded range of enemies but the fact he knows the location of Nox's lab now or at least seemingly his main one. I fully expect that to come back at some point with either using it as leverage or destroying it outright because fuck Nox.
Great stuff here though and very hyped up to see what happens next, whether that's more Hatchet stuff or James fully going in on trying to take Nox down once and for all.

Quote from Klaus Way on 2 May 2025, 09:26TOP THREE MOMENTS:
- The Chains of Consequence - Igor Mortis is DEAD. Tombstone is convulsing. What is happening!?
- Footprints in the Sand - I can't say I am surprised it was George's footprint, but the way this segment played it out was so nice!
- Then - Phase Two is intriguing. Cronus and Fernicus were here so it must be a flashback, but if Fernicus is there it can't be as far into the past as I'd imagined. Does that mean that when Arcadia was created there was mass memory wiping?
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- What the hell is going on with the Kingdom/Sunshine club? Sunshine said they arrived because he called in a favour with the real
- Zookeeper - so he knows who it is?
- Whilst we're on the topic - what are we going to see Mister Smile, Mister Chipper, Miss Joy and Miss Cheerful get up to?
- Who is Willy? Is he a fellow Mariachi?
- Does John The Revelator have a more terrible past than we even know?
- What did Narcissa tell The Night that got him on side?
- What's this serum Nox has for Hatchet?
- Is there a reason Redgrave is collecting Cade family members!?
- SCISSORS?!
MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
Has to be the World Title winning piece right? 'The Watchman's Failure'. Great job Jin!
HAVE YOUR SAY:
DREWITT
It's interesting to see the relationship between Grimmy and Drewitt changing in front of our eyes. We still don't have a full answer as to what happened behind the door and how they got out, but you would think something like that would bond you for life. Interestingly though, we still didn't hear from Drewitt's point of view in 'Broken Trust' - I think it will be interesting to see if we get that this week.KLAUS
I think everyone was expecting Klaus to have killed his parents but from the looks of 'Origins' it was the freaks! It certainly gives a new twist to his relationship with them - are any of those responsible still in his employ, or are the current freaks all new ones. Does he still harbour a resentment towards them regardless of the answer? It's still important to note though that we are still not aware of his involvement with Zephyr and if he was involved in something untoward there. He's a very multi-faceted character our Klaus...

Quote from Eclipse on 3 May 2025, 07:23Firstly, my apologies for the late feedback. With the busy week (by my admittedly very low standards), time as a concept just... Kinda disappeared from my mind. Only realised in bed this morning that... Huh. It is Saturday. I haven't done feedback. Well, shit.
TOP THREE MOMENTS:
- I mean... It is Pandemonium. There will never be a Pandemonium where the Lambs match itself doesn't make the top three. Well written as always, with a nice mix of action, character work, storylines being represented or furthered and, of course, a nice helping of drama. Congrats to the two winners! Speaking of...
2. Scissors was before my time, but I've heard him mentioned a lot, especially during the 'Bad Apple' reveal from Fernicus's diary in Felix's feud with Tombstone. As much as I will be sad to see the character of Felix Foley go (I always love a babyface who protects the kids), I am ready and lubed up to be introduced to the character of Scissors. And the reveal he bombed the Pantheon? Shit, I never saw THAT coming. Wonder if Felix even knew and scissors just occasionally 'took over', or whether Scissors was pretending he was still Felix all along. Furthermore, how will the Seekers react to the revelation?
3. No disrespect meant to Daws here, but great to see the first world champ out of the 'new generation' of handlers that arrived around the same time, and Jin is such a lovely guy. A far cry from the character he portrays! Both very happy to see him reach that goal AND for something to finally go the Preservationist's way, to keep things more interesting. We've consistently been eating all the shit XD
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- What is the ultimate goal of Sunshine and his new club, and what depths will he and his new cohorts sink to? (I still miss old Sunshine tho :'( ) Also, has he split from the Preservationists? And who will step up to rescue Hungy?
- Which new fractures will appear in the two sides of the civil war?
- Has Nox found a new running buddy?
- Who will be Attano's next target?
- What the FUCK is with George Cade's crusty old ass?
MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
Piggy Pie - Any time I read a Hatchet promo, I enjoy it - very few people manage to inject character into the way they talk as well as Daws with that Juggalo shitheel, and it makes him more fun to hate. Not only was there the whole 'set up dominoes, then knock them down' theming, but the theme itself seems like the exact kind of theme the character himself would gravitate to - something gross to be treated with utter disdain and contempt. Not a surprise he did so well.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Well, sorry Bryno. My quest for my first ever tag title defence will have to continue, but it was definitely a fun run, and Bryno has been a lovely person to work with, not intimidating at all, enthusiastic, open to ideas... He's made a process that intimidated me, collaborating with others, into a joy. Thank you for the past couple of months!
Aside from that, Eclipse's interference in the early going of the Lambs match both furthered the storyline and helped 'protect' Ayame, with regards to how she is portrayed, which I like. Excited to see how Eclipse fares against this new incarnation of her long time rival. Best of luck, wasabi!
