TOP THREE MOMENTS:
(Three moments of the show that stood out to you and why.)
- An Inconvenient Truth - Well, I bought into Sunshine not being the Zookeeper. I thought he was just another pawn in the game, so this came as a shock to me. I was taken off guard, and when I can buy into the twist, it pops me, so for that reason, this segment needs to be on my top 3.
- Grande Reveal - Another situation where I didn't see this twist coming. I really enjoy being left guessing and the reveal of Graves holding Ned and Rose captive. Graves has played his role expertly in this whole thing without letting on he was responsible for their disappearance.
- Ejection - I really enjoyed this segment; the tension between Harold, Klaus, and Michaela was palpable. Then, the surprise of seeing Zeus, I really do love the interactions between Zeus and Harold, like two friends who tend to drift apart, but when it comes down to it, they always have a fascinating chemistry with each other, which is what always made them friends.

New Face of Fear - Great work from Brian here, I really love the idea of Tombstone dying when Igor left him and Gravedigger stabbed him in the back and then... paint the picture of how he's coming to be that top of that food chain.

(How did you like your characters portrayal and what are your thoughts on your current storyline? What, if any, improvements could be made?)
Nox - Well, shit, I think it might be time to be on the lookout for Destructo. This is a real hunter who has become the hunted situation with his mother and father's spirits motivating Destructo. This could very well be the one challenge that ends Nox. I cannot wait to see how Nox handles this more aggressive Destructo from here.
Harold - Man, this was a tough loss for Harold on a story level. Not able to rise above the abuser of his daughter, it's just depressing. Then you have Zeus, who appears to be calling his frenemy back into action. What does all this mean for Harold?
TOP THREE MOMENTS:
- Carnevil was a beautiful opening segment. I think that Klaus really does shine when he gets to show off that wild showman ship of his. He's the kind of character I could have seen step into a general manager role if the storyline so called for it.
- Ghosts was a really fun segment to me. I think Nox really shines when he's allowed to act like a Scarecrow type. The entirety of Destructo being spoken to by the perceived ghosts of his parents really gave this a Batman vibe that I really dug.
- Ejection was an excellent show ender. It's interesting to see Zeus leading his troops again despite knowing himself to be on death's door. One has to wonder where they're taking Klaus, and more than that, what's going to happen to Klaus. Excellent show all around I would say.
BURNING QUESTIONS:
- Will Destructo kill Nox?
- Is Cade going to have to kill Redgrave?
- What will become of Klaus?
- Who or what is El Peso del Craneo?
MY FAVOURITE PROMO OF THE WEEK:
I'm giving this to The Ballad of Jackson Cade. I only read a handful of promos for this show but it's always a treat to see a promo written by Dean. Always masterfully done and definitely worth a read.
HAVE YOUR SAY:
Jackson Cade: I always knew that this would end with Cade and Redgrave facing off one last time, and I can only wonder just where the hell Jasper whisked Jackson away to. Even more so, I'm curious to see if he'll be able to finally go through with killing the artist. There's a lot to sink my teeth into going into the final Red Snow of V3.
