In Colt Ramsey, Promo by Colt Ramsey

Somewhere down in The Slums is a man on the prowl, his eyes focused on the target as he follows in pursuit. This hunter has been tracking his prey down for quite some time, finally getting the focus of his chase right where he wants them.

This man has been offered a hefty bounty for a successful capture, and he readies his weapon with a smirk on his face for the final blow…until something captures his eye. A bigger risk of failure, perhaps, but in the hunter’s mind a chance at a much bigger reward.

The prospect turns his smirk into a wicked grin as he aims for the second target, his mind less focused on the primary objective and far more geared for the promise of more, more, more.

But that grin quickly disappears as the new prey manages to escape his sights…and becomes a scowl as he watches his initial target take off as well. The hunter grunts as he puts his weapon down, realizing he’s failed to claim the prize he was after…and all because he got greedy.

Greed is a dangerous thing, whether it’s the promise of a bigger game or more credits than you’ll know what to do with. Some folks will see such a prize dangling in front of their eyes, and they get all too eager to chase it down…not realizing the trap they’ve put themselves in.

Even the greatest hunters in Arcadia are susceptible to the dangers of greed. Give them just the right target–or bounty–and they will do just about anything for you.

This gives them a chance to succeed beyond their wildest dreams…or fail miserably. They focus their eyes on the prize, and forget they still have a challenge to overcome…one that gives them the slip.

And boy, do I see a hunter letting his greed get in the way in Luther Grim. You’ve had your fair share of game in Arcadia, but nothing ever seems to satisfy you…no, all you seem to want is more, more, more.

Like a box enticing Pandora’s curiosity, the promise of a bigger and better bounty excites you…and now you have two prizes dangling in front of you. A chance to take ol’ Colt Ramsey out, and an opportunity to earn enough credits to settle down for once in your life.

But I’ve seen glimpses of where your mind–and heart–are at, Luther…and you damn sure aren’t going to settle down anytime soon. You know deep inside that all those credits won’t give your fill, because without a hunt there is no thrill.

Problem is, those credits dangling up above are distracting you from the real danger…the Journo you let slip away. Only I won’t simply run off, Luther…because I want those credits too, and to get them I gotta go through you.

Your greed will get the better out of you, when I make the Beast of Prey a tame creature licking his wounds…while I collect what I rightfully deserve.
