I always saw the best in my little Juno. She was destined to do great things, and always had a knack for helping people. It only made sense that she became a doctor, then, looking to heal Arcadia one patient at a time.
There was once a bug of sorts going ’round, an ailment that affected many…a sickness in need of a cure. It was my Juno who worked countless hours during this time of chaos, refusing to leave until this plague could be contained.
She worked her fingers to the bone to protect her patients, but the disease worsened. The infected became victims of something far greater, the avarice of those higher up in command of the medical facility.
They determined that those who were ill were too far gone to be saved, so they took the most drastic course possible to resolve the matter…by burning the facility down.
Juno was devastated by her work going up in smoke, unaware of the machinations behind the disaster…and I was furious, because I knew what they were up to.
A man in my profession knows when he’s being swindled, and this little scheme would cut me out of thousands of credits. Every patient mattered to my sweet Juno, and every prescription mattered to my bottom line.
So I took action, seeking these people who would cause chaos to gain an advantage…and I ran them down for every credit they were worth. I solved the problem for my dearest Juno…and for myself.
I look at Gemini and I see exactly what she is…pestilence, for a profit. Always causing chaos where she goes, and always seeking to gain from the plague she spreads.
Isn’t that what draws you to a man like John The Revelator? The chance to cause as much mayhem as you can across Arcadia, surely. The more your disease grows, the better off you’ll be.
That’s something the ol’ Esquire can’t seem to see, since he’s put you and your friends to the task of stopping The Uprising…but I see what you’re trying to pull. You have no desire to help him…your only desire is to destroy everything in sight.
I simply cannot let that happen, Gemini…I won’t let that happen. Just as my sweet Juno worked so hard to help the people of Arcadia long ago, The Uprising is here to save Arcadia from the infection Apokalypsis is spreading.
I’m keen on solving problems, and I can solve the one that is Gemini real quick. I will cure the rot that is Nergal, and help Arcadia to heal once again. We will pave the way for a new era, one free of the likes of you and your ilk.
The people will thank us for purging Apokalypsis from this place, and the people will come to understand—and accept—what The Uprising is offering them.
