Women and Resistance

The following announcement is a message from the Arcadian Censorship Authority

Good people of Arcadia, we at the ACA have received your dozens, and dozens of reports regarding this fringe resistance movement.

A movement led by a scantily clad, female artist, who is not only a terrorist, but worse, a charlatan.

We feel it is necessary for us at the ACA to clarify our stance on resistance.

Almost all resistance is BAD, and will be CENSORED going forward. This includes any and all anti-authority, anti-state, and worse, anti-censorship street art, be it painting, fashion, or music.

ANY and ALL attempts to have UNCENSORED art will be grounds for further censorship, and additional punitive measures.

However, the Arcadian Censorship Authority does find some resistance credible, and unworthy of censorship.

Perhaps, if Ms. Balenciaga is listening, she will learn a thing or two.

For instance, women should resist making art. Women have fanciful, but conspiring minds. They are more apt to use art as a method of declaring their desire for freedom than men, who are naturally better artists to begin with.

After all, freedom leads to degeneracy. And therefore, freedom will be CENSORED.🚫

Women should also resist involving themselves in politics too frequently, for the same reasons, lest they become terroristic ne’er-do-wells that cause chaos in an otherwise orderly society.

Chaos, especially chaos caused by scantily clad usurpers, shall be henceforth CENSORED.🚫

Lastly, though certainly not least, women should avoid DRESSING LIKE TWO-BIT, GOOD FOR NOTHING SLU–

“Mr. Boswick, please!”

…My apologies, Ms. Perrywinkle. It appears even a man of my stature can, at times, allow his emotions to lead him down uncouth paths…

Actually Ms. Perrywinkle, I’m glad you spoke up. Because not only did you help me resist saying a naughty word, you also set a perfect example of how a woman ought to be.

A woman should remain couth at all times. She should dress modestly. She should use makeup sparingly, and interest herself in the act of homemaking and busying her hands and mind with chores. She should be a rock both as a mother and as a secretary, reliable and steadfast in her virtue.

After all, what’s the alternative? Hmm?

A woman who designs clothes and implores young minds to resist authority? A woman who organizes terroristic acts, raises bastard children to act against their father, and blames everyone but herself for her pathetic movement’s failures? A woman who hides from fair and just punitive measures? A woman who proves, time and time again, that women are unfit to lead?

I’d take you, Ms. Perrywinkle, over a woman like that any day.

As for Ms. Balenciaga, well, let’s just say it is well past time for her to be CENSORED.🚫

It’s not just my job to censor, Ms. Balenciaga. It’s my life’s work.

And your terrorism, your immoral and valueless, anarchistic baloney is a threat to my life’s work.

You can threaten my life, Ms. Balenciaga, and given your moral degeneracy, I suspect you will.

But my life’s work? Ma’am, I’ll proudly defend it to the death.
